ecoBiz assists businesses identify efficiencies in waste, water and energy for financial and environmental benefits.
ecoBiz Facilitators are individuals or organisations that retain core competencies in sustainable business practices.
The EPA issues formal certification of ecoBiz Facilitator status to applicants who demonstrate that they have suitable competencies to assist participants.
Ecovation assessors have received facilitator training enabling them to identify what activities a participant will need to undertake in order to progress through the six ecoBiz steps.
The ecoBiz Business Audit program will help your business develop a pathway to implement best practice and continuously improve on its operational efficiency.
A number of grants are available to assist businesses to implement new technologies as part of the ecoBiz program.
Rebates are available to Queensland businesses that clearly demonstrate the benefits of conserving, reusing and recycling resources, energy and water through innovative and best practice technologies within their industry in a manner that delivers economic, environmental and social benefit to the business, the wider community and the State (conditions apply).
Rebate assistance of up to $150,000, limited to a maximum of 30 percent of Capital equipment costs, may be available for projects identified in the ecoBiz Action Plan. Rebate applications must be received prior to project commencement.
Further the Federal Government is offering a new Tax Break for small business enabling them to receive an extra tax deduction up to 50% on the capital cost to introduce Solar or Wind Power. Click here to find out more.
